My grandmother refuses to tell any of us about him, other than to say his name was Benito Vega, and that he's probably dead by now. He was from Cuba, and married my grandmother Carmen Saldana in the 1940's and had my father Jorge Vega. They were divorced when my father was born, and she thinks MAYBE he went to New York.
