I'm looking for my ex-husband and father of my 4 children, my oldest daughter he adopted, she's almost 30, another daughter almost 27, a son 25, another daughter 23. He has 2 daughters from a previous marriage, the oldest is almost 33 and the other is almost 30. Andrew Irvin Glover is 54 years old (11-30-1947). He was born in Glasglow, Scotland, and came to the states when he was 6mos. They landed in LaGrange Park, IL - not far from the Brookfield Zoo. He went to Catholic boarding schools. His Father (Thomas Glover) remarried (Rita Glover) when he was about 5 years old. He never saw his biological Mother again. He ran away from home when he was 16. He enlisted into the Army at 17 or 18. He was stationed at Fort Carson, CO, around 1964-1968. He loved Colorado Springs, CO. He lived with his first wife in Colorado Springs, CO, around 1970-1974. I met Andrew Irvin Glover in Fort Lauderdale, FL, in 1974. He Divorced and we married in 1976. We lived during most of our marriage in Colorado Springs, CO. Our three (3) children were born in Colorado Springs, CO. We divorced in 1980 and moved to Indiana in 1981. The last time I spoke to Andrew was in 1986, he called me and I told him that his Father had just passed away. We have not heard from him since. The five (5) kids are his only biological family in the States. He usually worked in construction or driving delivery trucks. He was traveling with his job and I haven't known an address of his since we divorced. Our last address together was in Colorado Springs in 1980. He has never helped with the children's upbringing and now they are all grown. We want to find him and ask him if he will participate in their lives now. Life is not over. The past is the past. We need to stop our wondering and hoping and we need a void filled by him. If he is dead, the kids may have benefits coming to them. They need to know - if he is dead - the benefits should be given to them instead of being kept in an unclaimed property department of the State. I never knew his Social Security Number. I have a grandson now and so does he that he's not aware of. I would appreciate any leads or knowledge of knowing him. Thank you.
